FAU – Paper Making Lab
Removed existing walls, ceilings, window stools, soffits, doors, and baseboards. Removed a single door at hallway and frame opening as well as an A/C unit. Treated specific rooms for termites. Installation of new interior double door, window stools, gypsum board and ceilings with wood framing, and baseboard.
Project Features
The FAU Papermaking Lab is the setting for instruction in hand papermaking topics, as well as paper decoration. The Jaffe Center, one of the nation’s most prominent sites for books handmade by artists, began offering printing and bookbinding when it opened in 2007 at FAU’s Wimberly Library.
